Rob McGregor - Director

With over 30 years of experience in public relations and advertising, Rob McGregor has extensive industry knowledge and networks.

His industry sector experience includes: financial services, publicly listed companies, information technology, property and construction, automotive, healthcare, fashion, enterprises, education providers, agribusiness and the rural sector (including viticulture), voluntary sector organisations, hospitality and tourism.

Rob’s known for his strengths in strategic communications planning, crisis preparedness and issues management, stakeholder management, public affairs and government relations, financial communications and investor relations, public information campaigns and business mentoring.

However, he is most enthusiastic about seeing his client's achievements featured prominently in the media as a result of a well-considered plan to raise their profile.

He has also been responsible for integrating client communications, ensuring advertising, direct marketing and public relations work together to an organisation’s business and marketing objectives. His work on the Electoral Referendum and Firefighters campaigns has won international recognition from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).

Rob is a member of the Urban Art Foundation's advisory board and was a director of Research For Life (formerly known as the Wellington Medical Research Foundation) from 2014-2022, and a trustee of Te Omanga Hospice from 2006-2015. 

In his spare  Rob enjoys reading, motorsport, attending art exhibitions, and entertaining friends and family.

 

Dr Chris Galloway – Accentuate+ Associate

 Dr Chris Galloway specialises in issues, crisis and risk communication, with a focus on reputation risk management. 

He’s developed an easy-to-use methodology to help corporate reputation managers identify and manage reputation threats.

Before launching an academic career, Dr Galloway was a senior corporate affairs executive, working for organisations including Telecom New Zealand, the New Zealand Meat Board and Public Trust.

He is co-editor of a book on public relations issues and crisis management. Chris has also published papers in journals such as Public Relations Review, the Journal of Communication Management, the Asia Pacific Public Relations Journal and Prism.

Now a senior lecturer in public relations at Massey University’s Albany, Auckland campus, Dr Galloway took up his position after 10 years teaching in Australia.
